Mayoral Ball Launches Coffs Kids Charity and Raises $65,819 for Local Families

The Coffs Coast came together in style on Saturday night at Pacific Bay Resort for the Mayoral Ball — the region’s social event of the year and the official launch of the Coffs Kids Charity.

More than a fundraiser, the night was a celebration of Coffs Harbour itself — the energy, the people, and the spirit of Team Coffs. It showcased the city’s ability to come together with pride and generosity, while also reflecting the positive direction and momentum of the region.

Hosted by MC Brad Daymond and led by Mayor Nikki Williams, the evening welcomed special guests including Federal MP Pat Conaghan, State MP Gurmesh Singh, City of Coffs Harbour Councillors Cath Fowler, Les Oxford, Julie Sechi, Gurminder Saro, and George Cecato, along with community leaders from across the region.

Guests enjoyed a night of energy, dancing, and generosity, raising an impressive $60,439.62 on the night, with a further $5,380.00 contributed through the Welcome Hospitality Group Coffs Cup Golf Day and Calcutta. Together, this brings the total funds raised for Coffs Kids Charity to $65,819.62.

Funds raised will be directed to services within the Mid North Coast Local Health District, ensuring children and families in the Coffs Coast region have access to the vital health and community support they need, close to home. Importantly, 100% of funds stay local.

Mayor Nikki Williams said the Ball was a proud moment for the city: “Saturday night was pure Coffs Harbour at its best – full of energy, dancing, positivity and incredible generosity. The way our community rallied behind Coffs Kids Charity was inspiring. What a night!”
